Who We Are
Clinton Newberry Natural Gas Authority (CNNGA) has been a member of the S.C. community since 1952, when we began supplying natural gas services to Laurens and Newberry counties. We also began providing services to Southern Spartanburg County in the mid 1980s.
CNNGA currently is expanding its services to the Lake Murray and Lake Greenwood areas in these counties as well.
CNNGA is proud of its reputation of providing safe, reliable and competitively priced natural gas services to residential, commercial and industrial customers. We provide clean, efficient, environmentally friendly natural gas for heating homes and businesses, cooking, water heating, gas fireplaces, and many other uses to about 13,000 customers.
Our Team
CNNGA’s employees are highly trained, experienced and dedicated to providing superior customer service. From our office staff to our technicians in the field, our employees work as a team to ensure prompt, safe, and reliable service to our customers. We strive daily to meet customer requests quickly and efficiently.
Our CNNGA team consists of technicians in the field that provide on-site customer service, meter reading, installation, maintenance, line locations, and capital orders. They are supported by office staff consisting of customer service representatives, accounting, finance, billing, accounts payable, payroll, human resources, purchasing and inventory control personnel.
Locations/Offices
CNNGA operates from two offices located at 1643 Springdale Drive in Clinton, S.C. and 668 Wilson Road in Newberry, S.C.
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Telephones are answered until 5 p.m. For customer convenience, a drive-thru window and after-hours night deposit box are available at both locations.

CNNGA closes its offices in observance of the following annual holidays:
If a holiday falls on a Saturday, CNNGA will close its offices on the Friday prior. If a holiday falls on a Sunday, CNNGA will close its offices on the Monday following.
