Welcome to Clinton Newberry Natural Gas Authority (CNNGA)
CNNGA has provided safe, reliable and competitively priced natural gas services to residents and businesses of Laurens and Newberry counties since 1952. We also began providing services to residents and businesses in Southern Spartanburg County in the mid 1980s.
CNNGA’s experienced and dedicated staff strives to provide approximately 13,000 customers with clean, efficient and environmentally friendly natural gas through dependable and convenient service. We remain highly vigilant of customer safety at all times.
At CNNGA, we are always looking for new ways to improve our service to our customers. We welcome any comments or suggestions you may have to offer.
Know what’s below. Call 811 before you dig.
Palmetto Utility Protection Service, Inc. (PUPS) is a one-call system funded by participating utility companies that can help prevent dig-ins -- when a resident accidentally hits a utility line underground while digging, which can cause damage to property, loss of service, injury, or death. Anyone who intends to dig may use PUPS free service by dialing 811 at least three business days in advance.
We operate from two office locations -- one in Clinton, S.C. and one in Newberry, S.C. The location of our technicians near these offices allows us to respond quickly to any emergency that may arise in our service area.
